Mission Statement

Every 15 seconds, a child dies from lack of clean water. Save the Rain teaches water starved communities to use the rain as a sustainable water supply to stop these needless deaths.

How we achieve our mission:

To achieve our mission, we teach these communities to harvest the rain through roof water collection, surface water

collection and to clean it with sand filtration. The systems are built with local materials, by the local work force. This assures our systems are repairable by the communities themselves therefore guaranteeing sustainability. We are committed to efficiency. We will always create rainwater solutions to supply the most amount of people, in the shortest amount of time, for the least amount of money. A mere $15.00 pays for a villager to receive water for the rest of their life & the life of their offspring.

Who we are:

Save the Rain is an independent 501 (c) (3) non profit and not affiliated with any other organization. We are a simply a group of committed people who decided that the present water conditions in the world are unacceptable ~so we came together to change it.

" To drink a glass of water,
one third of humanity turns on the tap.
The rest improvises."

African Girl

An African child who was born with a handicapped foot, walked close to 10 miles per day to collect water. Today, she has a Rain Catcher and no longer needs to.
